Career Fair at UBB, Cambodia (26 March, 2019)

Career Fair at the University of Battambang (organised second time within SIMPLE project supported by the Erasmus+ of the European Union) was held on 26th March 2019. Over thirty institutions displayed opportunities for students and graduates at the University of Battambang in Cambodia.

The fruitful event was launched by official welcome by Vice-Rector for UBB Dr. Sam Rany and SIMPLE project coordinator Dr. Jana Mandíková followed by lectures from SIMPLE project representatives with internationalisation topics. Representatives from Battambang Job Center and private companies Betagro, Mahonokor, BM consult companies, Angkor Bird Nest, Springboard4Cambodia provided valuable lectures like Recruitment and consultant job career, Job opportunities, IELTS, How to prepare a CV and cover letter. Twenty booths were exhibited for many job opportunities, internships, overseas studying opportunities and within 9 hours attracted more than 700 visitors. During Round table session University staff meet the requirement from companies and discussed effective collaboration with the professional sector. Also, SIMPLE project associate member - SEARCA displayed their opportunities and cooperation with CONSEA project (Developing curricula for Environmental safety and Conservation of the Biodiversity in South-East Asia​) through offering international positions for Master and Ph.D. students for Sustainable Ecosystem Management.

International representatives at SIMPLE booth offered wide range of career opportunities provided by project associate partners YPARD (Young Proffesionals for Agicultural Development) and Agrinatura (The European Alliance on Agricultural Knowledge for Development​) and project partners from universities at BOKU Vienna (Austria), CULS Prague (Czech Republic) and UNTAD (Indonesia) provided details and recommendations for international career opportunities.
